He started his journey in the addiction and recovery field at Origins in 2014 where he worked as primary counselor and quickly moved into serving as the family services director for over three years. He has a small private counseling practice where he works with male teens and both male and female adults with co-occurring disorders. He has helped other treatment centers as a consultant in revamping curriculums, programming, implementing trauma-informed services and has worked on and off as a part-time lecturer at UTRGV with the graduate counseling department.

In addition to working on substance abuse issues, Bob has a strong passion for working with individuals who suffer from trauma. Bob enjoys spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle with a volunteer organization, and going fishing.

Prior to starting her own company, Mandy served as the CEO and Chief Clinical Officer of BRC Recovery, the CEO of The Ranch at Dove Tree, the Vice President of Clinical Services at Origins Recovery Centers, and the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Windhaven Counseling Center and its women’s only IOP. She is passionate about the unique issues of women, particularly those in recovery, and applies this passion in all that she does She has served on boards supporting the academic advancement of women including the Margaret Talkington School for Young Women Leaders.
Mandy has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families impacted by addictive illness and is a passionate advocate for the mental healthcare of Veterans. She is committed to providing accessible care, to developing creative partnerships that improve continuums of care, and to researching, developing, and implementing novel treatment approaches in the addiction and mental health treatment space.

Joan Hovland | Primary Counselor at Hannah’s House, MSW, LCSW, LCDC
She is dedicated to providing professional and compassionate clinical services, using a variety of therapeutic models. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and certified in treating complex trauma using Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT). In addition, she uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. These approaches allow her to tailor treatment plans that are both comprehensive and personalized in addressing the unique needs of the clients she serves.

Alexandra Brotzman | Family Nurse Practitioner, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
She initially served as a Nurse Manager prior to assuming her current role in 2015 as Family Nurse Practitioner in residential care. She provides a broad range of advanced practice nursing services including holistic evaluation, diagnosis, and management of both acute and chronic medical conditions and says its especially rewarding to see the entire process of change occur in our patients from admission to discharge.
In 2020, Alexandra returned to school and is now board certified as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She’s an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Mayflower Society, and Daughters of the American Revolution. Outside of work she stays busy with offshore fishing tournaments and traveling as much as possible.
